Everything you need to know before your first shipment

Transit times depend on the route. Vietnam to South Africa typically takes 7–10 business days door-to-door. South Africa to Thailand or Cambodia is 8–14 business days. All times include customs clearance at both ends. Actual time depends on flight schedules and customs processing speed.

We ship personal effects, commercial goods, documents, clothing, electronics, food items (non-perishable), and household goods. Prohibited items include dangerous goods, live animals, currency, weapons, and items banned by airline regulations or customs authorities. If you are unsure about a specific item, contact us before booking.

Yes. Our door-to-door service includes customs clearance at both origin and destination. Import duties and taxes are separate and are the responsibility of the receiver — these are government-imposed charges that vary by country and goods category and cannot be included in our shipping fee.

Price is based on chargeable weight, which is the greater of actual weight and volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is calculated as length × width × height (cm) ÷ 5000. Our calculator above does this automatically — just enter your parcel dimensions and weight to get an instant price.

A refundable deposit of 20% of your declared item value is added to your invoice to cover potential import duties. If customs does not charge any duties on your shipment, the full deposit is refunded to you within 24 hours of customs clearance. If duties are charged, the deposit covers them and any difference is settled directly with you. This deposit is not part of our shipping fee — it is a passthrough for government-imposed charges, and appears on your quote once you have entered your item values.

We take photos of your parcel before dispatch. If your parcel is damaged or lost in transit, contact us through your customer account and we will investigate and respond within 5 business days.

We accept bank transfer (EFT in South Africa, bank transfer in Vietnam) and VietQR. A deposit is required before collection and the balance before your parcel is dispatched. Full payment details are provided in your booking confirmation email. We do not accept credit cards or cash at this stage.
