The SA Vietnam Shipping Company was founded by a South African who relocated to Da Nang, Vietnam and spent years watching fellow expats struggle to send goods home or receive items from South Africa. The options were expensive, unreliable, or required navigating complex logistics with no support in the right language or time zone.
We built the service we wished had existed when we arrived. Starting with the Vietnam to South Africa corridor, we established relationships with freight partners, customs agents and warehouse operators at both ends. We learned the documentation requirements, the common delays, and the practical realities of moving goods between two very different regulatory environments.
We have since expanded to Thailand and Cambodia, and we continue to add routes as our capacity and partnerships allow. Every route we operate is one we have personally tested and refined before offering it to customers.
We are not a large multinational. We are a focused, experienced team that handles a manageable volume of shipments carefully. That focus is deliberate. It means we can track every parcel and respond to every customer without losing quality as we grow.
